The Non-Motorized Advisory Committee or “NMAC” is a subcommittee of SCOG’s Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), which is made of public works and planning staffs from SCOG member jurisdictions. The NMAC’s mission is to support an integrated, effective, and affordable non-motorized transportation system in Skagit County.
Direct advice on non-motorized transportation planning is provided to the TAC as needed. The NMAC typically meets on the first Tuesday of the month in SCOG’s basement conference room in downtown Mount Vernon.
The Non-Motorized Advisory Committee helps develop and distribute Skagit County’s bicycling and walking maps. Digital copies of the maps are available below:
Check local visitor’s centers or contact the SCOG office for paper copies of the maps.
