2017 Annual Listing of Federal Obligations

Every year, SCOG publishes a list of transportation projects that obligated Federal Highway Administration and Federal Transit Administration funds in the prior year.  After federal funding awards are made through numerous processes, these funds must be “obligated” (set aside) prior to being spent on preliminary engineering, right of way and construction of transportation projects.

The Annual Listing of Federal Obligations is a report that tracks these federal funds and compares obligation with programming of transportation funds within Skagit County.  For more on this report and programming of federal transportation funds, see SCOG’s Regional Transportation Improvement Program webpage.
