The Skagit Council of Governments (SCOG) will be prioritizing human services transportation projects for Skagit County and has released this Regional Call for Projects to seek projects for evaluation and prioritization at the regional level. Projects submitted will be evaluated using these criteria and weights.
The end result of this process will be letter grades assigned to projects (A, B, C or D) by SCOG’s Transportation Policy Board indicating the regional priority. To be eligible for funding, projects must be submitted to SCOG for the regional process and separately to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) for the statewide process. WSDOT will ultimately make the project funding decisions, factoring the regional prioritization process into which projects are selected for funding. Funding is made available through the WSDOT Consolidated Grants Program, which includes funds from the Federal Transit Administration and State of Washington that can be used to implement eligible projects.
Please email Mark Hamilton at email@example.com with any questions about the regional prioritization process. Application materials are due to SCOG by October 27th. Any application materials submitted after October 27th will not be accepted. Submit application materials to firstname.lastname@example.org.
