TAP Call for Projects

Skagit-Island Regional Transportation Planning Organization (SIRTPO) is issuing a call for projects for Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) project funding.

On April 23rd, 2015 the SIRTPO Policy Board approved the 2020-2021 TAP Project Selection Criteria. Approximately $688,000 will be available for transportation alternative projects in Skagit and Island counties.

Project applications are due to Gabe Philips by 5:00 PM on May 29th, 2015.

Eligible project sponsors include:

  • Local governments;
  • Regional transportation authorities;
  • Transit agencies;
  • Natural resource or public land agencies;
  • School districts, local education agencies, or schools;
  • Tribal governments; and
  • Any other local or regional governmental entity with responsibility for oversight of transportation or recreational trails that the State determines to be eligible.
