Title VI Plan Adopted

The metropolitan planning organization board adopted the updated SCOG Title VI plan at their regular meeting on May 21, 2014.  The Title VI plan ensures that SCOG is not discriminating in any of the plans, programs, policies and activities of SCOG’s transportation program.

The plan includes a notice to the public, complaint procedures, special emphasis program areas – including programs for public participation, consultant contracts, Environmental Justice, language assistance, environmental studies, and education, training and data collection – as well as assurances that SCOG and its consultants are meeting Title VI requirements.

The Title VI Plan can be accessed via the SCOG nondiscrimination webpage.
